Ambassadors
Our YPN Ambassador volunteers support and champion YPN—developing programs, resources and events designed to accelerate personal and professional growth and networks of our area's young adults. Working together, we can help shape our region's future by empowering young professionals to thrive individually, professionally, and as a community.
What Do Ambassadors Do?
Most importantly, they serve as champions of YPN South Bend. They amplify our messaging, bring more YPs to events and share content on social media.
- Attend monthly Ambassador meetings.
- Stay engaged with the team through digital communications.
- Offer up ideas on programming and resources.
- Help at events (check-in, serve as greeters, make newbies feel welcome).
It's really quite simple. We want our group of Ambassadors to have fun, connect, and grow with each other! We don't want this to become a second job. However, if you raise your hand, we do have some expectations. We expect you to attend "most" monthly meetings, attend YPN programming as much as possible, contribute ideas at meetings and champion YPN. We're trying hard to not make this a rigid group, but we do expect you to be a team player and follow through.
We have no set number of Ambassadors or specific positions to fill. Rather, our goal is to assemble a diverse group of young people with the same objective in mind--to develop, connect and empower your peers!

Eligibility
- Must be between the ages of 21-39.
- Must be willing to work with diverse people, opinions and backgrounds.
- Participation is limited to one representative per company.
- Applicant has attended YPN programming in the past 12 months.
- Must have flexible schedule and be able to devote time to participate in required Ambassador activities.
- Must attend a minimum of one event and one meeting per quarter.
