Dr. Karlyn Borysenko

Dr. Karlyn Borysenko is founder of Zen Workplace as well as the Chief Science Officer of RallyBright and works with teams all over the world to build better work experiences. An organizational psychologist and executive/performance coach, she is a leader in integrating mindfulness strategies at work to increase productivity and creativity, reduce stress, and create better work experiences. She is based in the greater Boston area and serves clients all over the world. She holds an MBA and a PhD in Psychology, is an experienced trainer and facilitator, coach, and award-winning speaker. Karlyn is a contributor to Forbes.com and the author of Zen Your Work: Create your ideal work experience through mindful self-mastery.

Casting a Vision for Your Life: Recognize & Reach Your True Potential

As a Young Professional & CEO, Hayley leads the overall growth and expansion initiative for the practice and surgery center. Under her leadership, the number of clinic locations doubled and the number of doctors increased by 80 percent. She co-founded and helped launch the Elkhart Education Foundation in an effort to recognize outstanding educators, support innovative teaching strategies and encourage students to find their spark in life. Hayley along withBoling Family, launched the Kindness to Prevent Blindness Mobile Eyecare Unit in 2018 to provide free glasses to all 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 8th kids in 17 Elkhart County public schools and now in 2019 expanded to 68 St. Joseph County public schools. She was featured on the cover of Ophthalmic Professional magazine for her innovative approach to customer service. In 2014 and again in 2016, she was recognized by the APEX Award-Winning Publication, Administrative Eyecare Magazine, as a "Game Changer" for the innovative contributions that she has brought to my industry. Hayley is constantly motivated by her desire to serve and inspire others in finding what they're passionate about (aka what makes their heart beat fast) and, ultimately, help others see the best in themselves! She is always inspired when she is able to "take care of business while taking care of hearts," and she loves surrounding herself with an AMAZING team of people, both inside and outside her profession, so that she can motivate and encourage others to see their personal gifts and reach their true potential in life. She intentionally (and unapologetically) insert Buddy the Elf quotes into daily conversations. She can't help it … she says it just makes her smile (and smiling's is her favorite)!

TJ is a founding member, investor and CEO of Inovateus Solar.  Driven by the company’s mission of “building a brilliant tomorrow”, T.J. has been instrumental in growing a world-class team that has successfully deployed over 360 Megawatts of solar energy within the United States and abroad. In addition, TJ is the CEO of Geoversity, a global ecosystem of individuals and entities in the pursuit of breakthroughs in human design, enterprise, and creative expression, inspired by nature. Mr. Kanczuzewski has been honored with awards including “Forty under 40” and “Outstanding Young Business Leader” in Indiana and Michigan. As a solar energy veteran and entrepreneur, T.J. has presented in venues ranging from Universities, trade shows, corporate summits, The White House, podcasts, radio and TV. In 2017, T.J. launched his first book titled; Building A Brilliant Tomorrow, which focuses on the history of solar energy and how the energy revolution is changing the world we live in. Prior to his career at Inovateus Solar, TJ worked for General Growth Properties in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Columbia College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. TJ also enjoys exploring the world with his family, playing music and serving on the ownership teams and board of several others.   

Micki Kidder

Choosing Joy: A Critical Decision that Affects Your Happiness, Network and Career

Micki Kidder was appointed Vice President for University Enterprises and Events in March 2019. In this role, she oversees the planning and execution of a wide range of University events (from commencement to concerts), and provides strategic leadership for gameday hospitality, the Morris Inn, McKenna Hall, the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore, St. Michael’s Laundry, licensing, clubs and concessions, and campus dining.

Kidder most recently served as Associate Vice President and Executive Director of Development, where she oversaw individual leadership fundraising for the University, including regional fundraising and athletics advancement. Moreover, she led the operating and administrative functions of the University Relations division, including Special Events, Development Information Services, Donor Services, Finance, Human Resources, Stewardship, Prospect Management, and Development Research.

Kidder graduated from Indiana University in 2000 with degrees in accounting and finance. She holds a certificate of education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame in May 2019. Kidder is a Certified Public Accountant, and prior to joining the University, she led cross-functional teams in Assurance & Business Advisory Services for PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Marshall V. King is a journalist and writer who has worked in northern Indiana since graduating from Eastern Mennonite University in 1992.

He became a reporter at the Goshen News and was a reporter, columnist and editor at the Elkhart Truth for more than 20 years. He is now a freelance writer and journalist for a variety of outlets, including the Goshen News, South Bend Tribune, Community Foundation of Elkhart County and South Bend-Elkhart Regional Development Authority.

As a pastor, film producer, author and media personality, Lucas leverages his combined experience from working in the church and in Hollywood in order to lead, entertain, and influence masses with the gospel. He's been featured on TBN, The Blaze, 100 Huntley Street, Patheos, Relevant Magazine, and Bible Gateway.Having been called into ministry at an early age when a friend confided in him that she was contemplating suicide, Lucas, an ordained minister, has spent the last 25 years bringing hope and redemption to people all over the world through his life and philanthropy. Lucas oversees film crews and film projects regionally and nationally through his media company. He has produced video content for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sony and Showtime and recently wrote a book called Good God


Alex Sejdinaj

Alex taught herself how to code in order to teach others. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in English and pre-medical studies. Shortly after finishing her undergraduate career, she co-founded South Bend Code School as a way to make coding more accessible to all. Shortly after starting Code School, Alex co-founded two additional tech companies: Code Works, a digital product studio, and Give Grove, a fundraising platform.

Amish Shah

Understanding Influence & Making an Impact

For more than 20 years, Amish Shah has focused on making Northern Indiana a better place to live and work. Amish began his career at Kem Krest in 1996, and has been the CEO since 2008. Under his leadership, Kem Krest has grown to become a $500+ million company that services Fortune 100 companies globally. Amish is also a board member and co-owner of ESGI (“Educational Software for Guiding Instruction”), a second stage education technology company focused on early literacy.

Amish has been recognized for his entrepreneurial talent and philanthropic work in a variety of ways, most recently as the Mendoza College of Business “Commitment to Michiana” 2018 honoree. Amish currently serves on the GM Supplier Diversity Council, the YPO Mid-America US Region Board, the IUSB Chancellor’s Advisory Board, the Beacon Health Board of Directors, the Junior Achievement Lemonade Day serving Elkhart County Board of Directors, the South Bend– Elkhart Regional Development Authority Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and the Lake Forest Academy Board of Trustees. Additionally, Amish is very active in community and regional development through many projects and ad-hoc councils. He is particularly passionate about building the next generation of entrepreneurs in Elkhart County.

Amish and his wife Amy, daughter Maya, and sons Samuel, Charlie and William live in Elkhart County, where Shah was born. Amish holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Zachary Vaughn

Project Manager with Cornerstone Alliance, Zachary Vaughn, attributes his growth and success to meticulous planning, problem solving, and fear. Born and raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Zachary returned to his hometown shortly after college with a mission to expand his knowledge and experience in the world of urban planning and development. In his years back home Zachary has found great success in various leadership roles and earned the Southwest Michigan 40 under 40 award.

Zachary began his journey working for the nonprofit organization Kinexus upon his return home. During his 5-year stint with the organization Zachary advanced quickly to director for the organization’s educational entity, The Bridge Academy. It took Zachary just under 3 years to be named as the Director for the program. Within 2 years as a Director, Zachary organized his team to effectively advance the educational skills of 60 students, who successfully earned their high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). In addition, the team provided over 75 students with access to basic job skills training and placed over 40 students into local employment. Under his leadership during the 2018-2019 school year his team was able to boast the second largest graduating class in program history.

Zachary is currently employed at Cornerstone Alliance, a non-profit investor-governed economic development organization, primarily focused on increasing employment opportunities, private sector capital investments, and the local tax base in Michigan’s Great Southwest, with specialized business services offered in economically distressed areas.

Kimberlie conducts and facilitates trainings, fulfills the roles of coach and mentor, and assists associates with professional, personal, and skill development for positive progression and multi-dimensional well-being.  

With a diverse background in allied health and leadership, Kimberlie applies her extensive knowledge base to various professional and volunteer activities. She is a certified facilitator for HeartMath and Listening Pays, as well as a certified Caritas Coach and cancer research patient advocate for Susan G. Komen and the American Association for Cancer Research. 

Kimberlie has had various work experiences and assignments in health-related and community-based organizations and agencies and higher education institutions. She has trained, facilitated, and presented at the local, state, national, and international levels.

John, CRO of Notre Dame FCU, headquartered in South Bend, Indiana, who recently was chosen as Professional of the Year by the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU). A proud native of Chicagoland, raised in the Goose Island neighborhood of Whiting, IN, Wilkening graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Public Relations. Upon arrival at Notre Dame FCU in March of 2015, Wilkening took immediate action in training his team to turn them into Financial Physicians. His mantra during his 25 years in banking has been to change a life a day, and this has been instilled in each partner (employee) at Notre Dame FCU. His team of knowledgeable Financial Physicians are now trained to do the best thing for the Member with each interaction—no matter what.
